LOVEMAN, ROBERT:

American poet; born at Cleveland, Ohio, April 11, 1864; educated and now (1904) residing at Dalton, Ga.; M.A., University of Alabama. He has published the following volumes of verse, which have won for him recognition from contemporary critics: "Poems," Tuscaloosa, Ala.,1889; "Poems," ib. 1893; "Poems," Philadelphia, Pa., 1897; "A Book of Verses," ib. 1900; "The Gates of Silence," New York, 1903.
